Career Change

This post is a bit late, I apologize for that! But, as of July, I’m happy to announce that I have made a career change!

For the majority of my IT career, I’ve worked for a company’s IT department. No matter if it was a formal IT department or not, I still worked for an individual company. I’ve learned a lot working for these companies and from the managers/supervisors that I reported to.

Enter Turbonomic!

Beginning July 1st, I moved over to the Vendor side of IT, working for Turbonomic as an Enterprise Services Engineer. In layman’s terms, this is a resident engineer role where I’ll help a specific company (I cannot say which company just yet) deploy and configure the Turbonomic software and help the company have better performance and efficiency, while maintaining compliance.

I have a bit of a road ahead of me to train for this role, including becoming Turbonomic ACE certified next week, and Ace Pro in September! 🙂 I’m excited for this next stage of my career’s journey!
